Who we are
BonsCut barbershop, Jl. Raya Canggu No.9, Pererenan, Bali. We control the personal data described here.
What we collect
- the name, phone number and email you enter when you book;
- the note to your barber, if you leave one;
- your booking history: date and time, service, barber, price, and whether the visit happened.
To stop spam, the server counts requests from your IP address for up to an hour. The address isn’t saved with your booking or anywhere else.
This website sets no cookies for visitors and runs no third-party trackers or analytics. A cookie is used only in the staff-only admin area.
The map in “Find us” comes from Google and loads only when you press “Show the map”. From then on Google’s own privacy policy applies to it. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and Google Maps take you to those services.
Why we use it
- to book your visit and look after you when you arrive;
- to contact you about your booking, for example if your barber is ill and the time has to move;
- to email you the booking details and a reminder before your visit;
- to keep our own records of visits.
We rely on your explicit consent, which you give when you book, and on the need to provide the service you asked for. We don’t send marketing messages.
Who sees it
Only our staff: the admin area is password-protected, and the connection to this website is encrypted. For each new booking, an email with your name, phone number, email and note arrives in the shop’s inbox (Gmail, run by Google), and a message with your name, phone number and note goes to our staff’s Telegram group, so your barber knows who’s coming. The booking details and the reminder come to you from the same inbox.
We don’t sell your data or pass it on, except to Cloudflare, which runs this website and its database under contract, to Google, whose Gmail sends our letters, to Telegram, which carries our staff group’s messages, and where the law requires it. All three keep data in their own data centres, some of them outside Indonesia.
How long we keep it
Three years after your last visit, or until you withdraw your consent, and then we delete it. If your data ever leaks, we’ll tell you within 72 hours of finding out.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you and get a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to pause using it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to bonscut71@gmail.com or call +62 821-3813-874. We reply within 72 hours. If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to Indonesia’s personal data protection authority.
If you’re under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to book for you.
If we change this policy, the date at the top changes too.
